To celebrate the 100th day of school on Tuesday February 10th, the Student Senate team is challenging our community to donate 100 boxes of cereal. When you do your groceries this weekend -grab an extra box of cereal and send it to school by Tuesday. If we reach our goal, we will be creating a cereal box domino celebration through our hallways and donating our boxes to a local food bank!

Our school is excited to announce an upcoming Gallery of Black Excellence, a school-wide initiative celebrating Black Canadian lived experiences. Each class will create a poster highlighting a significant event, place, discovery, or achievement connected to Black Canadian history and culture. Students will also design exit-pass questions to help guide and deepen engagement during the Gallery experience. This project connects directly to our Social Studies, Geography, and History curriculum and will be completed by Monday, February 23rd.

What Families Need to Do (Required)
By January 30, 2026:
Register your child through Brightspark using the registration link below.
Registration and payment are completed directly through Brightspark (not the school).
A completed registration is required to secure your child’s spot on the trip.
Optional: Complete the Fundraising Committee form if you are interested in volunteering to support trip fundraising initiatives.
Please note: Registration must be completed by January 30. When planning school trips, our intention is that all students are able to participate. If there are any barriers that may prevent your child from attending, we encourage you to contact your child’s teacher, Ms. Casey, or Mrs. Cox so that we may work collaboratively to address concerns and remove any barriers to participation.
That being said, transportation arrangements are based on the total number of confirmed registrations. If student numbers do not support the cost of a second bus, participation will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the availability of bus seating.
